Music and My Pen Drives

I am a music lover and spend most of the time listening to music when sitting idle. Music plays a very important part in my life. The genre of music which I listen, depends on my mood. There is music for every type of mood. When I am feeling sad I listen to old songs, when I am happy I listen to some peppy songs, when I feel disappointed I listen to music which inspire me and when I am in a party mood, I listen to party music.

In short my life revolves around music and I am sure that for many people it’s the same. Their life too revolves around music. I see people listening to music while travelling, some listen to music when they are sitting idle, some listen to music when they are taking bath and some listen to music even when they are in the loo. Before my mathematics exam, I always used to listen to music and solve the questions.

The best time for me to listen to music is while I am driving. I want all types of music ready while I am driving because my mood changes frequently. I have created five personalized pen drives which I change with my mood. Each pen drive contains a single type of music. One pen drive has party music one has old songs, one has latest songs, one has romantic and one has all remixes. I can’t drive without music. Before pen drives, I used to record music CD’s and before that tapes. My wife loves to have a long drive with some romantic music and old songs being played in the car.

Once the stereo of my car was not working and it took two days to get the stereo repaired and I didn’t drive my car for two days. I used to travel through public transport and used to reach my office 10 minutes late. My wife used to say me that ‘You are very crazy, your car stereo is not working and because of that you are travelling through public transport’. I know it’s wired but it’s true. For me, my five pen drives and car stereo should be ready and working, when I have to drive.

When I come to home after office I turn on some old songs and have a cup of tea. If I don’t do this I cannot sleep in the night. To sum up, my day starts with music and ends with music. In the morning I have my morning tea while listening to old music. Old music of late 80’s gives me a fresh morning. Music while driving is a must for me and I really can’t drive without music.

This blog post is inspired by the blogging marathon hosted on IndiBlogger for the launch of the #Fantastico Zica from Tata Motors. You can apply for a test drive of the hatchback Zica today.
