A Fantastico Restaurant - The Final Episode

In my previous posts, I talked about two things, which I thought are necessary for a good restaurant. These two things were:
  • The Ambiance
  • Innovative Dishes
With all the information and researches, now I was ready with my business plan to open a restaurant. I got all the ideas which were necessary for the restaurant. Now, the only problem was of funding. I was short of funds to open the restaurant.

Loan was out of question, because I knew that I would not be able to get the amount which I needed, to open the restaurant from the bank. I could get half of the amount as loan from the bank and half would be still left. I had no option, other than doing a partnership with someone who could invest money in my restaurant. I went to all my friends, but they had already invested their money in mutual funds and shares. I was very upset because I could not arrange the money, which I needed to open the restaurant. I had asked each and every friend of mine but no one helped me.

One day, a friend of my father came at home for dinner. He asked me about my work, then I told him about my restaurant plan. He asked me for the business plan which I had created. The next day, I went to his office and showed him the business plan. After reading the plan, he was so impressed that he agreed to invest in my restaurant.

The next step after the funding was to look for a prime location for the restaurant. In Delhi, the best location for a restaurant is Connaught Place or Greater Kailash. For my restaurant, I finalized Connaught Place. The rent was a bit high here, but I knew that the return would me more here.

For the ambiance, I finalized a jungle safari theme which in my opinion was great. I met an architect and gave him the contract, for the ambiance of my restaurant. To serve food in the restaurant, I finalized plates which were made of wood. I called a cousin of mine, who was a chef in a 5-star hotel, to finalize the menu. With mix ideas of me and my cousin, we created a menu with very unique dishes.

I called up some of my blogger friends, at the inauguration of my restaurant and asked them to give their feedback about the restaurant. They all appreciated my efforts and said what a fantastico restaurant you have opened. I was very happy with the feedback they gave for my restaurant. In a time span of three months, my restaurant came in the Top 10 restaurants of Central Delhi.
